Swimming Pool is a taut sensual thriller that plays on the juxtaposition of repressed English sensibility and loose french morals. You'll get your fill of naughtiness in the form of voyeurism, plotting, lies and adulterers. Ludivine Sagnier is fantastic as the kinky but savable french slut and you can't get better acting that Charlotte Rampling. It's pretty gratifying to see the sexual tensions and desires of an aging protagonist played out on screen in a way that doesn't seem gross at all. Add to that a murder mystery and you get a pretty nice piece of entertainment.From imdb:
